Microsoft is continuously pumping out new peripheral hardware. The latest are two wireless mice; Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 and Wireless Laser Mouse 7000. The former is a mouse for the mobile user, but it’s still quite a large mouse. It has the same physical design as a desktop mouse but to improve mobility you can hide the radio receiver inside the mouse. The receiver uses radio waves (2.4GHz) and is plugged into the USB port. Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 can’t hide the receiver but instead it has another nifty feature.
It has rechargeable batteries which is charged simply by putting the mouse on top of the horizontal charge station. The MSRP is $49.95 for the mobile 6000 model and $69.95 for the desktop-geared 7000 model.
