GeForce 9800GTX specifications surfaced earlier last week. The NVIDIA reference frequencies turned out to be 675MHz core, 1688MHz shader and 2200MHz memory clock. The G92-420 core has a 256-bit memory bus coupled to 512MB graphics memory. VR-Zone has now posted even more detailed specifications, which reveal that the card is 10.5″ long (26.7cm) and consumes 168W. When you add all of this together, what you seem to get is an overclocked GeForce 8800GTS 512MB. Hopefully the shaders have been optimized and we can expect some additional performance on top of the increased frequency.



They’ve also published pictures of the cards, which don’t quite match the description. The text clearly states that the GTX has two SLI connectors, which it does, but the card on the pictures only sports one SLI connector;
