More and more things are making us believe that Apple will launch its first iTunes-capable phone during the “special event” September 7th. According to Engadget, who has has spoken to one of the involved persons, Apple is afraid that the phone might hurt its iPod Shuffle sales. Therefor the iTunes-phone will have a limit set to 100 songs which means that it will be able to store at max 512MB, which puts it in parity with Sony Ericsson W800i. It is going to be quite interesting to see if and how the iTunes-phone will stand up to the competition, not just other “music phones” but also MP3-players. Source: Engadget
