ABIT has some interesting news coming up shortly and we’ve managed to find some information regarding these. First out is a completely new feature called ìGuru.
ìGuru is a microprocessor integrated on a mainboard intended to take some load off the CPU by handling certain functions on the mainboard. ìGuru also contains an interactive user interface in Windows and is used by several applications from ABIT as you can see below.

The first mainboard to use ìGuru is ABIT AI7, based on Intel 865PE chipset. The mainboard will probably be launched at Computex in the following week but we’ve still managed to find some exclusive information regarding this board.
The board has, except for the usual features, support for Prescott CPUs through its 4 phase power supply system, certified for FMB 1.5.
Other tidbits are SATA-RAID, 8x USB2.0, 3x FireWire, 6 channel sound (ALC658) etc.
