AMD Bulldozer has been postponed a number of times and the latest information from AMD said we would see the architecture in 60-90 days, which was back June 6th. New sources suggest that Bulldozer will not arrive before October, which implies another month of delays. The first listed models are four octo-cores, two hexa-cores and two quad-cores.
AMD’s new architecture Bulldozer continues to keep us waiting, but a good sign is that the first benchmarks are out, although they remain unconfirmed. AMD said on June 6th that Bulldozer would arrive in 60-90 days, which would mean Augusti or September.
Donanimhaber reports the specifications of the new models that are slated to appear in October.

All models look new if we are to compare to earlier leaks, and some details are rather astonishing. All models comes with an unlocked multiplier like AMD’s Black Edition processors, and the quad-core models brings 8 MB L3 cache and not 4 MB. This could be because the first quad-cores will share core with the hexa and octa-core processors.
The cookie jar is empty and Bulldozer is missing
This is unconfirmed and advise readers to consider it carefully, but we can’t help wondering what is going on at AMD if October is the month it is aiming for. Maybe GlobalFoundries doesn’t have the capacity for both Llano and Bulldozer at 32nm, or AMD has run into problems with the architecture that it is trying to correct?
