The Radeon X1950 series is still AMD/ATI’s best performing graphics card series. Except from X1950XTX and X1950XT, which are the two high-performance cards and both are based on ATI’s older 90nm process, ATI also launched the newer X1950Pro last year, which is based on the new 80nm process. This card was launched with high frequencies but still a low power consumption and to follow up the success of this card it will now launch X1950GT. According to HKEPC, X1950GT will be based on the RV570LE core and thus have many similarities with X1950Pro. The card will have slightly lower frequencies though (500/1200MHz vs. 575/1380MHz) and no TV-in. The card is expected to come out in February and be slightly cheaper than X1950Pro.
