AMD Radeon X2800, Radeon X2600 and Radeon X2300 will be the names of the first graphics card series we will see based on AMD/ATI’s coming R600, RV630 and RV610 circuits. Almost everyday we hear new rumors about the anticipated R600 circuit, but the table that has now been published at OC Workbench gives an overall view and expose the specifications of AMD’s coming graphics cards based on the R600 architecture. At the same time there are 12 different graphic card models listed for launch in 2007 and all are related to the R600 architecture. The specifications are a bit different from what we’ve seen before as the Radeon X2800 series is claimed to sport 128 pipelines, which is contradictory to what we’ve heard before.

The manufacturing process is different as well as the midrange and budget-series we’re suppose to use a 65nm process. Anyhow, the most interesting about this table is that it lists the plans AMD has for the R600 architecture. These specifications should perhaps be considered with a pinch of salt, but preliminary sources states the 128 pipelines may very well be true. The frequencies posted are perhaps the most interesting here, while at the same time we’re eager to hear more about the dual-GPU model in the form of Radeon X2800XTX2.
