After AMD’s purchase of graphics circuit manufacturer ATI there have been many rumors regarding ATI’s product assortment and what AMD had planned for the future. Apparently there have been some information that points to that AMD has been thinking of reducing the manufacturing of desktop graphics cards simply because it doesn’t have neither engineers nor money to remain a strong actor in this segment. New information suggests that AMD has already planned its appearance on the desktop market for three years ahead and it aims to continue even after that.
