Apple announced their powermac G5. Whilst the pc world innovates gradually, Apple goes the other way and changes everything to the newest possible with each new model. This time this was also the case.
The new powermac has up to two 2 GHz 64 bit IBM G5 processors, 1 Ghz FSB, up to 8 GB of DDR ram, 3 PCI-X Slots, S-ATA drives, their proprietary “superdrive” and a Radeon 9800 pro installed.
It features a new, innovative case design, where the case is divided into “zones”, each having their own silent fans.
