Does anybody remember the Rage Fury MAXX, ATi’s dual GPU card that was released for a couple a years ago? Sapphire has chosen to revive the idea with a graphics card equipped with two R350 (Radeon 9800) GPUs.
Sadly, this card seems indeed to never become available to the retail market. In addition, specifically written drivers intended for this card would be needed, although it would be a whole lot of fun to get a test copy to show what a card of this calibre is potentially able to perform.
I’m quite sure that it would crush the upcoming Radeon 9800 XT and GeForce FX5950 without any sign of hesitation. Looking closely at the card, we can also see that it seems to sport troubleshooting LEDs and Video In. It’s a fact; the “I want this” factor is enormous.
