Biostar is a manufacturer that we’ve been seeing more and more of lately and its latest motherboard to appear is based on NVIDIA’s coming GeForce 7050PV/630a chipset; Biostar TF7050-M2. This new circuit is known as NVIDIA’s answer to AMD’s recently launched AMD 690 chipset and thus brings an integrated graphics circuit. With HDCP support through the HDMI output and an 8+2 channel HD circuit it’s certainly a board to consider when building an HTPC. The integrated graphics circuit has been tested and proven to perform relatively well and according to Biostar you will be able to dedicate up to 256MB memory for the graphics circuits, which is more more an than enough to run Vista Aero.
