GeForce FX made its first appearance this weekend. According to a Japanese web-site multiple retail stores have ASUSTek’s graphic card V9900 Ultra available for sale and it is supposed to get to Europe and USA in a few weeks.
The specifications for these cards are a 500MHz GPU, 128MB DDR-II memory clocked to 1000MHz and of course support for DirectX 9.0.
Something disappointing is the pricing, you have to pay between $498 to $542 for this beast.
The big question remains, is it really worth to pay about $100 extra for a GeForce FX instead of the Radeon 9700?
Read more about it here and here.
