GeForce GTX 480 Fermi in the nude

NVIDIA has been quite good at keeping the GeForce Fermi architecture leaks to a minimum, up until recently. Over the last few weeks there have been several and the  information is flowing. Even if we’re held back by the media embargo there are plenty of media who aren’t and one of them is Atomic MPC, who has published detailed pictures of a naked and disassembled GeForce GTX 480 .

They start by removing the beefy cooler that is also investigated closely, and then move on to the circuit board and the components thereon from revealing angles.
