Gigabyte E350N-USB3 is one of the cooler Mini-ITX motherboards we look forward too. With broad functionality and a really energy efficient AMD E-350 APU the platform targets smaller HTPC systems or servers, with extra powerful USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output and overclocking functions, a board we now have High Definition pictures of.
Gigabyte has updated its product database with the new Mini-ITX motherboard and beside a complete list of specifications we get some more information on the functions of the board. With its integrated AMD E-350 APU the motherboard has a dual-core Bobcat CPU and a dedicated Radeon HD 6310 GPU. There is also an extra PCIe x16 slot (x4 bandwidth) for those want more graphics performance, but with HDMI output and support for High Definition audio and video the Fusion circuit will come along way with most platforms.
Powerful and never resting USB 3.0 ports
The motherboard supports SuperSpeed USB 3.0, but has more powerful electrical wiring. This technology is called Gigabyte for 3xUSB Power and allows users to charge more power consuming devices through the USB ports, e.g. Apple’s iPad. To top if all off Gigabyte has developed its On/Off Charge technology, which also makes it possibly to charge units through the USB ports even when the computer is sleeping or even turned off. The Quick Charge function will also make the charge 40% quicker than when connecting to regular USB ports.
