Hard Tecs 4U has tested the new Athlon64 3000+. This new low end model runs at 2.0GHz and has 512kb of L2 cashe. It sells for about $150 less than the P4 3.2GHz, but according to this review it beats the P4 in most game relevant benchmarks. Is it finally time to bring 64bit computing to everybodys desktop?
