Digit-life got their hands on motherboards based on Intel’s mid-range P4 chipset (the i865, the i848 is their budget solution). Exept for the single black i875 sheep, none of them officialy support the PAT technology. Although motherboards based on the i865 have nearly the same silicon, and most manufacturers found a way around the PAT problem.
Their review demonstrated that having this technology (the i875), does not guarantee supremacy over the others with the “hacked” PAT; it also illustrates that there are big differences in the performance gain manufacturers can get out of their PAT-hack.
