It seems that the Intel Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz Extreme Edition finally is going to be available in stores. It has been reported to X-bit Labs that the Pentium 4 EE is going to be shipped from Intel next week.
Thanks to the delay of Prescott in Q1 (first quarter) 2004, Intel have their trust in the Extreme Edition CPU. Pentium 4 EE walls up great against AMD Athlon 64/FX, but the prices now seem to be of the unrealistic kind, something that we already have reported here before.
At this time there are no price tags set, one thing is for sure, it will not be cheap.
