Intel‘s Bearlake chipset will soon be launched with the names P35 and G35, and will become the manufacturer’s next generation chipset family. The launch is expect to happen March 15 and during CeBIT there should be loads of Bearlake-based motherboards. But as we’ve mentioned earlier, Intel is already working on the next chipset that will be paired with the ICH10 southbridge. Now it seems that the name of this chipset will be Eaglelake and just as previous rumors have revealed there will not only be a 10Gb Ethernet controller, but also an integrated Wi-Fi circuit and support for Intel’s Penryn processors with high processor buses. Whenever Eaglelake may arrive remains to be seen, but it certainly looks promising.
