AMD said, in an interview with Syndrome-OC, that the new quad-core architecture Barcelona/K10 will be presented Monday already. They talked about the new architecture which will offer many technical advantages where far from all of them are about perfecting the power consumption, but also performance optimizations. There are of course no concrete figures or such, but you can really see the excitement in their eyes as the AMD representatives talk about the new architecture and even if this doesn’t really gives us any more information we can only hope that AMD will present some more hard facts on Monday.
