Lately, aluminium cases have begun to invade the market. One of the reasons why they are not sold in such large quantities as regular steel cases is their price. But even this is about to change. Simple, yet good-looking cases are cutting the prices to such a great extent that many of them no more can be called expensive.
Kingwin has recently released a case that easily fits into this category. It’s called K-11, seemingly based upon the K-424. This case does indeed sport simple, good-looking qualities, and best of all, it weighs a mere 20 lbs (approximately 10 kg).
Systemcooling.com has gone through it and seemed very pleased. Although it’s a tad small for my own taste, it seems roomy enough for a mid-tower. Add to that good airflow plus USB and FireWire at the finely brushed front, and you have an excellent piece of hardware.
