That the keyboard that you buy for a stationary computer and those integrated into laptops are different is not news. To be able to fit a set of keys onto a laptop you have cut down on the larger number, the most popular way has been to remove the keypad found to the right with regular keyboards. Recently we noticed how Microsoft announced its new Windows Vista keyboard, also without the keypad. This should not be interpreted as an indication for that the keypad will disappear sonn though as MSI has done the exact opposite. It has managed to fit a complete set of keys onto a laptop and has not hesitated for a sec to brag about it.

It has decided not to compete on the budget market but will instead focus on the segment of $1,000 and up. It is one of these 15″ models that has now been released with a complete set of keys and the question is what do the consumers prefer. Is it really worth the work and space to get these extra keys with a laptop?
