At last! nVidia has now released new drivers to their nForce-motherboards. They have fixed, among all, the notorious IDE-bug and it should also work better with games which use EAX-sound (if you use the integrated sound)
- WHQL certified kit for nForce and nForce2
- Includes support for nForce2 400 and nForce2 Ultra 400
- Added full IDE driver with performance enhancements (no longer shows as SCSI miniport driver)
- Update audio performance fixes for EAX supported games Update audio control panel

VIA haven’t either just been lazy. Their new Hyperion 4.47 can be found here. We haven’t got any reports about what have been improved/new/fixed in VIA’s driver.
