DirectX 11 and Tesselation demos
NVIDIA has been talking tessellation a lot. The original idea was to re-explain tessellation here, until we ended up at NVIDIA’s press event in Paris armed with a movie camera, where NVIDIA ran numerous demos and explained it all quite well. Below are five demos that covers most of what tessellation is about, but also some ray-tracing.
NVIDIA claims a 3.5 fold increase in performance for for ray-tracing from GTX 285, hear what Tom Peterson at NVIDIA has to say about the technology.
