OCZ has decided to update its lineup of DDR3 modules with a new high-end module using its patented XLC hybrid heatspreader. The XLC heatspreader works just fine the way it is, but the extreme user can connect the heatspreaders to a water cooling kit and get even more cooling for the modules. The modules run at 1600MHz and have been tweaked to use 6-6-6-18 timings, which is certainly not bad for DDR3. The capacity is 2x1GB and they are covered by OCZ’ lifetime warranty. The price is yet to be revealed…
