Optimus 103 isn’t just any keyboard and with this one it’s all about the keys. They are still 103, but there the similarities end. Optimus namely uses small OLED displays integrated into each key. This makes it possible to use tons of different key configurations and you can more or less tailor any kind of configurations of text, signs or perhaps even pictures on the keys. Many have been wondering if the Russian design studio Art Lebedev would really launch Optimus 103 but now it seems it is closing in on the launch date.
It has namely announced the manufacturing of the OLED displays has begun and that it hopes to have its specially designed displays ready in April. Measuring 9mm x 9mm, with a resolution at 32×32 pixels and 65K colors these are not the most common displays, which has made it hard to find a plant that can make them, but now it seems that things are happening and we can only wait for Art Lebedev to release more information about its exciting and very expensive keyboard.
