Slightly off topic, but still interesting.
It seemed inevitable, and now European companies are following the example set by RIAA in the U.S: sueing hundreds of users for downloading files through P2P services. According to news.com Landwell, a large legal firm, are claiming they will prosecute 4000 file-traders in Spain.
The law firm claims to have the IP addresses of 95000 people using peer-to-peer software. Who wants to bet against this happening in more countries in the near future? Have you upgraded your P2P-client to something that helps you remain anonymous yet? Interesting to note is that Landwell refuses to say for which company they are doing all the legal war-drumming.
