NVIDIA is planning to use its partners a lot during the launch of GeForce GTX 460, and several of them will be presenting overclocked versions of the card. Beside MSI, Palit has is working on GeForce GTX 460 Sonic.
Palit GeForce GTX 460 Sonic will ship with the same GPU clock frequency as MSI’s card, I.e. 725 MHz while the 336 CUDA cores operate at 1450 MHz.
The card will sport 1GB GDDR5 RAM that most likely will be clocked at 3600 MHz over the 256-bit memory interface. other functionality include DirectX 11, SLI and video outputs in the form of mini-HDMI and dual DVI outputs. We presume the card will get a custom cooler, customary with the Palit Sonic series.

If the card will be ready for launch on July 12th we don’t know for sure, but hope so. The price will be slightly higher than the price of the stock cards.
