Time to return some zombie butchering and luckily Resident Evil 5 isn’t as good at terrifying graphics cards as gamers. Despite high resolutions and graphics settings multiple cards cross 100 FPS in our first DirectX 10 games. Radeon HD 5870 continues to humiliate other single-GPU cards but 4870X2 still takes a clear lead with GTX295 just ahead of 5870.

STALKER: Call of Pripyat will be one of the first DirectX 11 games on the market, but until this chapter is launched we will stick to Clear Sky that use DirectX 10.1 effects with the cards that support them. STALKER is a really demanding benchmark where no card climbs above 35 FPS, not even at 1680×1050 pixels. Radeon HD 5870 still fares best and manages to outperform the two dual-GPU cards.
The question is what is most interesting, that Radeon HD 5870 beats 4870X2 and GTX295, or that STALKER makes all cards scream for mercy.
