Microsoft has teamed up with renowned mouse and game accessory manufacturer Razor and have together developed a new keyboard called Reclusa. The keyboard is geared toward gamers and has been specially designed with this specific group in mind with, among others, back-lit keys and programmable special-keys. Except from regular programmable keys they’ve equipped the keyboard with two 360 degrees jog-dials, similar to the volume control on a stereo, for switching commands fast. Reclusa has a somewhat different design and the backlighting for the keys will come in handy during late night sessions. Exactly how user-friendly the programmable keys are remains to be seen.

“Reclusa will help set gamers apart from their competitors with advanced features and best-in-class design elements such as ambient backlighting, Hyperesponse™ Gaming Key Action for maximum response with minimal latency, and two built-in gold-plated USB ports.”

The price of the keyboard will be 69.99 USD and is expected to appear in March.
