Samsung SyncMaster 275T is the first out of several new LCD monitors with a 27″ panel and the new model appeared just a week after the first rumors of a 27″ LCD monitor from Dell. Samsung’s 275T model is expected to appear in February and will become a solid alternative to 24″ and 30″ monitors which are already available. If you take a closer look at the specifications of the monitor you won’t be disappointed either. The LCD panel has a resolution at 1920×1200 pixels and is an 8-bit S-PVA model with a 6ms response time. But the contrast ratio is the most impressive though, 3000:1 is something few other LCD monitors offers today.
The 27″ S-PVA panel which is used by the monitor is made by Samsung self and according to the information we’ve seen about Dell’s coming 27″ monitor it will use the same panel. Samsung and Dell will definitely not the only ones launching 27″ monitors and hopefully we will see a positive development of both specifications and prices.
Now we’re waiting for the first reviews of Samsung 275T and other monitors using the new 27″ panels. The price of 275T will according to DailyTech land at 999 USD.
