Samsung has presented a 30″ (4:3) LCD monitor using LED backlight during CeBIT. This makes it possible for the monitor to offer a color gamut at 123%, which results in more details and better colors. The monitor is not a widescreen model, but sports a resolution at 2560×1600, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m² brightness and a 6ms response time (GTG). The monitor is perhaps not for the home users as it’s not a widescreen model, but we’re still eager to hear about the price and when it will appear in stores.
