SanDisk Sansa Clip is a new, small and conveniently sized MP3 player designed for the training freaks and people on the move. The size hasn’t hindered SanDisk from equipping the Sansa Clip with a lot of features, including FM radio with recording feature, microphone, and a bright OLED display with a simple navigation between songs. The name comes from the fact that the player can be clipped on to your belt, or wherever you want it to sit. The player has a battery time of 15 hours, but it varies considerably depending on the quality and compression of the songs. For example, playing 64 kbps WMA makes the battery last as long as 64 hours with the 2GB model, whereas playing 128 kbps MP3 will last for up to 32 hours.
Sansa Clip will be available in sizes up to 2GB and cost $59.99, the 1GB version will cost $39.99. The 2GB player also comes in a variety of colors, such as elegant black, candid apple red, bright pink and ice-blue. The player will be available in September in North America and Europe.
