Gamers Depot made a roundup of 4 small form pc’s; 3 from Shuttle, and one from FIC. Shuttle’s competitors are the SN41G, featuring an NVIDIA Nforce2; SK41G featuring Via’s KM266; SS51G, based on the 651 Chipset from Sis. FIC brings their IC-VG61 with an Intel 845GE chipset on board.
“There are two clear picks in this round-up – without equal in this group of peers. The Shuttle SN41G with the nForce2 will give you the best Athlon performance and the best integrated graphics technology going – it’s also the only platform to support dual-channel DDR. It’s fit and finish help it look nicer than the other units from Shuttle as well.
On the P4 side, the Ice Cube from FIC clearly shows superiority here. The 845 chipset, great styling and good overclocking clearly place it above anything we’ve seen – the only caveat is that we wish FIC would’ve used the 845PE chipset. “
