As we have told before, Swiftec is launching alot of new products lately. Heatsinks, chipset coolers and watercoolers are being released all around us. They have now released a Water cooling block with two 226W TEC’s. The thought is that one should cool one water pipeline below room temperature with another pipeline cooled with a regular radiator. With this technique one can indeed achieve coldness in the cold pipeline. The product is not for the regular watercooler though, nor is it specificly for cooling computers. Despite this there is no problems using it in a watercooling system, but the performance is not that impressive at high thermal loads. Swiftec claims that the water will lie about four degrees below room temperature at a thermal load of 80W and the coolingwater at a temperature of 35 degrees. A innovative idea which will surely work very well in some systems but I doubt it will be worth the work to install it on a CPU.
