We’re slowly closing in on AMD/ATI’s launch of the anticipated R600 graphics circuit and it’s due time for them to launch a reply to NVIDIA’s G80 series. AMD/ATI will in March have to fight considerably more G80-based cards than those available today and it seems they’ve realized this. AMD/ATI are preparing four different versions of R600 and this information comes from the first driver with support for the new graphics circuit. There are four models mentioned and the question is how much of a difference there will be between the cards and what NVIDIA cards that they will be battling.
