VIA is now launching a new sister-chipset to their K8T800, namely the K8M800. What differs the chipset the most from it’s precursor is the integrated graphics, based upon something as exotic as VIA/S3’s own UniChrome. The mainboards based upon this chipset will also have VIA Envy24 Vinyl Audio with 5.1 sound support. It seems that adding a special PCI card can also expand this to 7.1 sound support. Also on the menu is also the perhaps not too surprisingly Gigabit Ethernet, quadruple SATA channels and such.
