Xbox 360 Elite was made official a while back after that its very existence had been denied for a long time. Just the fact that it has a digital video interface was denied as just some “lab experiments.” Anyhow, at Llamma.com they’ve dissected Xbox 360 Elite and revealed some quite interesting details. We can see that both processor and graphics circuits have been updated to a new revision, but there’s no way to tell if we’re looking at the new 65nm processor. On the other hand, if we look at the motherboard there are a number of things that points to this.

The number of voltage regulators has been reduced and the capacitors have been redesigned and upgraded. They also look at the new 120GB harddrive, but will have to wait until the software is updated with support for the new disks to do any work with it. The new harddrive is from from Hitachi; model name MHW2120BH.
