It didn’t take long after that Sony announced its price cut before stories about Microsoft cutting prices surfaced. An analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities has namely sent out a note saying thatMicrosoft will cut the prices of all of its video game consoles, from Core up to Elite. The new prices will be $249, $349 and $399 respectively. The upcoming E3 event will offer many surprises and memorable happenings and whether the prices will be lowered or not we will know for certain tomorrow. He adds that in spite of the price cuts, both consoles will still be losing ground to Wii, until prices are lowered even further.
