GeForce 6800GS will as we have reported arrive with AGP. Here in Europe the card has been hard to come across, but has now been starting to appear in stores, Komplett being one of them. Unfortunately the AGP version is considerably lower clocked at the core, 350 vs 425MHz. However information tells us that since the AGP card uses the NV40 core there are indeed four unlockable pipelines, which has been proven by users at among others Anandtech, which then results in 16 working pipes instead of 12. 6800GS performs like the old 6800GT thanks to the faster core, but since the AGP version is clocked like the 6800GT that is exactly what you get when you unlock the four pipes: a good ol’ 6800GT, with AGP.
