The world’s largest Plasma-TV was made by Samsung last December and measures 102″, however it now shares the posisiton with a model from LG. LG har has namely revealed a 102″ Plasma-TV during Corea’s KES 2005 event with full HD-support. I.e. the resolution is at 1920x1080px, contrast ratio is 5000:1 while the brightness is suppose to be 1000cd/m2. The integrated TV-tuner also has a 160GB harddrive to record HD-material and there will also be amemory card-reader somewhere in this huge TV. The fact that it is highly unlikely the TV will ever reach the stores is probably not such a big problem as most people will only be able to admire it from afar anyway. Source: Akihabara
