Acer AL2416WS is something as lovely as a 24″ LCD monitor costing less than $1,000, even quite a bit less than $1,000. Acer usually manages to keeps its prices down, but has managed to fit some quite impressive properties into this monitor despite the low price: 6ms, 1000:1, viewing angles as good as 180° and 1920x1200px resolution. There are som limitations though, e.g. there is only VGA input and no DVI. More thorough tests reveal that the monitor isn’t quite as nice as one might would believe at first, but still offers a lot of value.
