AMD supports Virtualization Technology to 100%

Also AMD is aiming for offering Virtualization Technology with its future processors and now the technology will be ready for developers to sink their teeth into. AMD says that all of its new processors that will be sold during 2006 and later will support Virtualization Technology.

“AMD says that it is closely working with VMWare to integrate support into VMWare’s virtualization platforms. Currently the most widely used virtualization layer, VMWare’s virtual machine software is already shipping with support for SMP processing and multi-core CPUs.”
