Creative has spent a significant amount of time developing drivers for its X-Fi sound circuit and Windows Vista, which has unfortunately left Linux users unassisted. Creative continues to tune and tweak its drivers for its latest sound chip and it has now released new drivers for both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of Microsoft’s newest operating system. There is no detailed information about what has been updated with the new drivers, but there is some other information that should appeal to all of you who are using X-Fi and Vista.

Even if Creative hasn’t released an ISO with software for X-Fi and Vista you can now download it from the well known torrent site Piratebay.org (don’t worry it’s legal). A complete ISO for those who want to burn their own installation disc for X-Fi and Windows Vista, with the very latest drivers.

You can download the X-Fi Vista drivers from Creative, or the ISO from Piratebay.org.
