Creative Zen Vision:M will be officially launched by Creative in about 17h when this was written. The problem is that Creative itself, through its Japanese site, has already released information about the new MP3 player. It’s just not any player either, but Zen Vision:M will most likely be a very hot topic when it arrives. Creative is known as a competitor to Apple and has for long been working on taking customers from Apple’s iPod series. It seems that it has a hard time to find its own winning recipy and therefore has chosen a reliable concept, Apple’s. Now it will namely launch a MP3 player which more or less is a copy of Apple’s iPod. Creative Zen Vision:M is a media player which to the exterior is very similar to Apple’s fifth generation iPod, iPod Video.

Not just the design but the measurements are similar, the only thing that really separates them are the depth as Zen Vision:M is twice as thick as the iPod. This balanced with a twice as long battery time during video playback.

The other specifications are more or less identical to iPod Video, 2.5″ display with 320×240 resolution and a 30GB harddrive. Let the games begin!
