Nintendo Revolution will be arriving after the other two consoles, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. That is pretty clear after last night share holders meeting. Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata stated: “It won’t be extremely late, but it’s possible that it will trail a little”, which leaves at least us feeling a bit uncertain. That they wouldn’t be able to match the launchdate of the Xbox 360 was never really a question, but now it seems pretty clear that Revolution will arrive after Playstation 3 as well. Perhaps even a lot later. The “specified” launch date for Playstation 3 is “spring 2006”, which probably means that Revolution will be launched during the Summer at best. This is of course for the Japanese market, both for the PS3 and Revolution.
