Corsair has become all the more serious with its SSD venture and its P256 drive with Samsung components have fought well against the competition. Just a week ago we reported that two more drives are coming, Corsair P128 and P64. The two SSD use the same base as the flagship P256 but less storage but lower and more attractive prices. We have a samples of Corsair P128 that we hope to run some tests with, but before that we thought we’d share some pictures of the drive.
We’re still working on the layout of the articles. We have never been especially enthusiastic over using just synthetic benchmarks and especially the Solid State Drive technology can be tricky to get a feel for without testing it during regular use.
The focus will probably be on the use of an SSD and it’s not impossible you will see more SSDs next to Corsairs P128. Until then you can look at some of the pictures we have below, where you can throw an eye at the memory chips and memory controller from Samsung, as expected.
