If you’re working on an essay, news article or anything where it can be a good idea to to keep track of how much you’ve written. A common figure used is the number of words or digits you have written. To find out how many words you have written in Word go to Tools and then pick “Word Count”.


Now you will get a small window that not only shows the number of words you written, but also the number of signs/digits (with/without spaces), pages, rows and paragraphs.
