The tip of the day will be most useful in helping you handle your files with Windows XP. As most of you know there is a “Send To”-menu when you rightclick a file. With this menu you can chose to send the file folders such as My Documents and the Desktop.
If you want to add other locations to the “Send to” menu do as follows. Go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\”username”\SendTo
You have to enable “View hidden files and folders” under Folder options in the Tools menu.
In the SendTo-folder you can easily add shortcuts for the plcaes you want to send files to. Convenient for those of you who have files lying pretty much everywhere.
