It isn’t an easy job to replace one of the most popular operating systems yet. Windows XP has been a huge success and it set the bar up high. So far Vista hasn’t been able to dethrone XP in all ways, but it is probably just a matter of time before it will. With the upcoming release of 3DMark Vantage we can only imagine that a large portion of our readers will at least be running Vista side by side of XP soon. Until then it might be worth taking a look at some of the tweaks available to make Vista work a bit faster. Over at PCStats they’ve published a guide with 99 Windows Vista tweaks, and at least some of them should come to use, no matter if you’re a bencher or a regular user.
