Gigabyte GV-N460D5-768I-B will be one of the new GeForce GTX 460 cards that will appear in stores next week. Gigabyte roadmaps have gone adrift and leaked to the press, showing performance numbers in “black and white”.

Gigabyte has compared its new GeForce GTX 460 768MB card with previous cards from NVIDIA, including GeForce GTX 275 and GeForce GTX 465, but also the main competition from AMD, Radeon HD 5830.

Judging from the benchmarks Gigabyte has “shared” it looks like GeForce GTX 460 will be real interesting in the performance department. It is neck in neck with GTX 465 and often keeps Radeon HD 5830 behind (in TWIMTBP games).

Looking at the actual card we see that Gigabyte has chosen to use NVIDIA’s reference cooler. Beside the 768MB memory buffer it has dual DVI outputs and one mini-HDMI output.

Specifications match those leaked before and Gigabyte is keeping strict to the reference clock frequencies with the GV-N460D5-768I-B model.

These benchmarks should of course be considered with a pinch of salt, but in a few days you will get some more, impartial numbers to compare with.
